Missing Westpoint Cadet

None that I could find. Only news item was on 3 Jan and stated that he failed to board his flight to return back to West Point. Very Sad.

This Minneapolis Star Tribune article is dated 1/07/07.

<a href="http://www.startribune.com/462/story/921224.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.startribune.com/462/story/921224.html</a></p>

I pray for this family daily. This makes me sick. I've been trying to keep up on the news. Precious little word and none of it good.

I pray for them, too....oddly enough when I'm working in my laundry room.

This story was finally aired on CBS (Channel 2 in the NY area) this morning- his poor parents are besides themselves and USMA has listed him "AWOL"... from everything that they said, this is highly unusual for this kid.... and if it is true he left without a jacket or wallet, I can understand why the parents are worried sick over this! To make matters worse, the news reported a similar incident in the same area prior to this event- a grave concern for all! Prayers going out to this poor family....

"highly unusual" barely touches how strange this is. There is no news at all. I'm tired of all these news articles trying to say that he took off because of the wreck because thats not him at all.

The similarities between the two disappearances make you wonder if there is a connection between the two cases even though they happened seven years apart.

I pray the cadet is okay, but if he isn't, I pray for him to be found so the family can at least know what happened.

I can't fathom what wild thoughts must be going through that family's heads. How normal it sounded to me for the Mom to have said that her son must have gotten up & gone for a run to clear his head. I can't count how many times my kid would get worked up over something upsetting & say, "I gotta go run this off".

I found it very strange that another family had lost their son, never to be found, in that same area. Raises question marks all over the place that I'm sure is in many minds. I'm with Mr. G. in his thinking. His parents & friends knew him best & when they say he wouldn't have just run away, I would go with their gut instinct over any news article. I hope beyond hope that they find him soon.

How in the world does a parent even begin to deal with this??!! To not know for hours, days, weeks, or in the case of the other family, years!! Please Lord keep your hand upon these people.....

Has anyone heard anything? At this point, it doesnt seem likely that this has a good outcome.....

oh my--- when I saw your post I thought there was some news!!! Those poor parents- my heart goes out to them- this "not knowing" is pure hell for sure! What a heartbreaker!

I Emailed The Local Newspaper Where He Lives And As Of 30 Jan 07 There Is No News And Still Listed As A Missing Adult.
