<p>Hey I current student at low tier school, I went to this school because I came to US after </p>

<p>graduation HS abroad(Post Soviet U).That is why I was enforced to go th this school.</p>

<p>I finished this semester, and got 4.o.
CAL
Eng1
Drama Act
RDG
Psychology(summer)</p>

<p>For this semester i started volunteering 50+@ food bank 50+nonprofit-sending-med-</p>

<p>supplies-to 3th world country.</p>

<p>I have not taken any standardized test yet.</p>

<p>I am scholar of academy at my college, they cover tuition .</p>

<p>I will try to do some research in next semester, any advice how to boost my application?</p>

<p>I am planing in joining to SGA,Hpo,Enviroment club, gardenning club, book club something like this I actually like it i meet a lot of interesting people)))</p>

<p>I want transfer top 25 school, What Can I do?</p>

<p>What Can dazzle my application, i was thinking about the med trip with above named organization, will it dazzle and jump out of other application???</p>

<p>I made good relationsthip wtih my professors, One said jsut tell me i have phd of writing application, think reccomends will not be problem)))</p>

<p>The reason I am transferring </p>

<p>Cause I want to be a part of community with real open minded smart kids, which give me </p>

<p>opportunities to create clubs and organizations , For example intellectual game brainring which is pretty famous in eastern Europe, I want to bring it here.</p>

<p>Please Help me </p>

<p>Keep your grades up and apply to Emory, Washington U, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Michigan, UVA, and Cornell. I can see you getting into a few of those. </p>

<p>Also what’s your intended major?</p>

<p>My Intended major probably gonna be BioChemistry, But I am not sure I can rethink it.</p>

<p>What about chances to Rice? I heard they are pretty interested in foreign students.</p>

you use the word, ‘dazzle’, did you get that from the movie, ‘21’ ? :D</p>

<p>also, you seem like a good student, honestly id say keep your grades up, join those clubs and write good essays :)</p>

<p>i bet youll get into several of those schools that bruinsjew listed :)</p>

<p>also, id recommend, UC-Berkeley, UCLA, USC, UNC-CH, Tufts, NYU… :slight_smile: theyre a little lower ranked, except Berkeley(rank 20 i think), great schools though :)</p>

<p>i dont know too much about rice, but i feel like youd have a good shot tbh:)</p>

<p>Good choice, Rice would be an excellent choice and if you keep your grades up and get involved and write amazing essays, than I believe you may one day soon be walking around Rice, :).</p>

<p>And ns89 gave me some really amazing choices as well! I’m going to add John Hopkins, Columbia, and Georgetown.</p>
