Missng the LATE date for the AP US Exam

I'd just missed the AP US exam today because I had thought that the exam would be adminstered in the afternoon, so I didn't come to school in the morning. Well, I was dead wrong. The exam was adminstered at 8 AM. When Igot over the horror of realizing I missed the test, I went to contact my AP coordinator about this, she said nothing could be done about it, and that I would not be be given a makeup test date because

A) Today was the late test day for AP US
B)I did not have an excused absence from the test (i.e. sickness, traffic, etc.)
C) The test schedule was up for a few weeks prior to the test, so i shouldn't have been dumb and should have looked at the test times (which I did, but I had gotten US HISTORY time mixed up with US GOV'T, which followed history)
D) she's an unsympathetic b****

so is there absolutely any hope for another makeup date, possibly at another school?

If I can't takee it this year, how will it impact my college application? I am generally very good at history (last year i took the ap euro exam, got a 5, and did very well in the euro course, and have done very well in this year's ap us course)

Will the scores of the other exams I took this year get reported?

Do colleges care at all that i missed the exam, even though i did very well in the course?

Sorry for a long, repitive post, i had a hysterical breakdown earlier today

Ouch. That sucks. I know that it's possible to take a test after a late day because someone from my school is, but I don't know about your situation. I don't think colleges care much about AP scores in general anyway though, so if I were you I would only be worrying about possible lost college credit, not the admission factor.

i took it today too
but y can't u take it next year?

Well, I'd preferably want to send in a score for the AP US exam with my college applications (I was confident I could have gotten a 5) and i am a junior right now. I don't think there's a point in taking it next year, since I have a 98-99 in the class. Besides, I can't take more than 6 exams in any given year, and I'd rather not waste one of the slots on US.
On the bright side, I got my SAT II scores, 790 chem 800 math 2c =0

Why can't you take more than six exams in a year?

My school does AP registration online, and you can register for a max of 6 tests (since there are only 6 slots for exams). I can't take any additional ones at another school, since my school offers 32 AP tests (collegeboard says you can take a test at another school if your school does not offer it)
i think the rstriction is there so that kids dont take like 15 APs and end up getting only 3s on most of them (good majority of students get 5s, or at the very least 3s) It porably makes the school look better.

If I get one 4 and three 5s on the rest of my exams, will that offset the fact that i didn't take US? I keep feeling that this will come back to haunt me next spring, with decisions coming in and all.

According to the AP Coordinator's Manual, **AP Exams must be ordered online/B, and so, accordingly, every school orders them this way.

Also according to the AP Coordinator's Manual, *Determine the number of exams that need to be ordered for each AP Course./I. The AP exams are ordered by course, not ordered per student.

So it's not a restriction on the College Board's part... at all.

you can't take it anywhere else.
exams are only administered twice, a regular date and a make up date.

try taking it next year as a senior.

The reason why you have to take the exam at a certain time is to ensure that there is no cheating. You could have called somebody that had just taken the test. That's why tests administered in Alaska have to be administered at a certain time.

i couldn't take my AP chem makeup exam either because my AP coordinator didn't order a test and she said i had to take a makeup makeup exam on the 28th
