mistake in app, reject?

Ok, mostly all the colleges I am applying to only look at 10-12 grades. These are all the UC's, and stanford and princeton.

Harvard was one of the only two schools that look at all 4 years. However, I was so used to putting my 10-12 GPA, that I forgot about Harvard looking at all 4 years, and so I put my 10-12 GPA on the Harvard App too. Of course, I specified in the section where you put the years that the gpa/rank covers that it was the 10-12 GPA.

How bad will it be? Will Harvard think I am somehow trying to cheat them because my 10-12 GPA is higher than the 9-12? Auto-reject?

It's a mistake, but it won't lead a an auto-reject.
The admissions often re-calucate the GPA in their standards anyway.
So don't worry.

Harvard recalculates gpa anyway based on its own standards.

However, you should send admissions your correct gpa, telling them that you accidentally put the wrong gpa.

dont worry about it. theyll have your transcript anyways.

that's an understandable mistake. an unacceptable mistake would be to say that you have a 4.6, when your actual gpa is a 2.0
