mistake in application update email

So I sent an email update to a bunch of places (~8), meaning to list them all as BCCs... but I forgot and put them all in the "to:" box, so for example Princeton will know that I applied to Brown, Harvard, Yale, etc...... do you think that will count against me?? >.<

I’m not really sure… but it might because it may look like you just want to go to a top school and aren’t interested particularily in their school. If you get an interview, show that you’re interested in the school itself, not the name. But I don’t really think it would cause you to get rejected if you otherwise would get in. Good luck!

It’s too late for interviews now.

@neverending, I can’t give you a definite answer, but I would advise you not to worry. If you are someone that the college wants, they will accept you. It wouldn’t make sense for a school to reject youjust, because you did what most people do which is to apply to a bunch of top level schools.

I also sent them an update email 2 weeks ago I think but I haven’t got a reply from them… Is it normal? Because I think my email doesn’t have any questions whatsoever, just a normal updates of more significant things I’ve been doing, so they don’t necessarily have to reply to it… Is there a chance they might have missed it?
