Mistake in Essay

Okay, I know that some people make grammatical and spelling mistakes in their essays and it's all fine...but what about completely screwing up a sentence? I worked pretty hard on my essay and I think that it's strong, but in the first paragraph (3rd sentence) there is a sentence fragment. It's also not really understandable from the context. I wrote:

"My friends always found the unique aspects of Buddhism."

when it's really supposed to be:

"My friends always found the unique aspects of Buddhism fascinating."

Hopefully I'm overreacting. I know essays aren't a deciding factor, but with my low scores, they're a pretty big factor for me. Should I be worried?

“Hopefully I’m overreacting.”

You are. It’s completely okay.

Just correct the mistake, if you haven’t submitted it yet. One sentence fragment won’t really affect your admission into a college.
