So I submitted by application to Rutgers last week and today I realized that I made a small grammatical error. I typed
"It's was" instead or It was". In short, am I screwed? Is that something that'll hurt me a lot?

No, you should be fine. Everyone makes mistakes like that, sometimes without even knowing.

That one is so clearly a typo type of mistake. I don’t think they will hold it against you.

it will be fine. admissions will be so brain fogged they’ll read right over it. they look at content more than grammar.

admission officers literally run through your essay, if your luck then they would run past it
if you not they will read it and ignore it
