Mistake on Transcript - What will Adcom think?

I just saw my official transcript and it shows two Physical Education courses in my junior year. The courses have the same name, but their course numbers are different. One course shows all Fs and the other course shows proper grades. This is weird. I have never seen this second course on my unofficial transcript that I have requested or any of my quarter reports that I received while I was in school, and I never took two PE courses or had to retake a class; all of my other grades are As and Bs, and then you just see these double courses and 3 weird Fs in PHYSICAL EDUCATION.

So, if Adcoms see this, I am wondering what they will think. Will they recognize it as a mistake? The mistaken course shows straight Fs, also the Fs weren’t factored into my GPA.

I would talk to your guidance counselor at school and have them contact the colleges you applied to. Adcoms might recognize it as a mistake or they might think that you were just incredibly lazy with non-academic courses. Your best bet is to sort it out with your school and make sure colleges are notified.
