<p>Hi, i was rejected in Feburary and recieved an official letter saying I'm rejected...</p>
<p>But today, i got a postcard saying "congradulations on your admission to the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign........." </p>
<p>is this just a mistake?</p>
<p>er...what was the postcard from? some outside agent like offering you a loan or something or from U of I also. it's either some very very sick joke or one heck of a mix up. definitely call and say what happened. what i would maybe do in this situation would have my parents call them and maybe yell at them for "psychologically" messing with you and who knows maybe they'll offer you admissions? that's a pretty little change but heck worht a shot.</p>
<p>i think its an official UIUC postcard..because some friends of mine who got ACCEPTED got it too</p>

<p>Try checking your admission application status online. I know you already applied and that they already looked at your application, but they do state if you were rejected or not. </p>
<p>When I knew I got accepted, I didn't get a postcard. I got a packet saying congrats and giving my ID number and etc. with a book about housing, fin. aid. and etc. </p>
<p>I live in IL and I got this like close to Christmas because I applied early.</p>
