Mistakes on Grading for the March SAT?

I took the March SAT this year and I was somewhat disappointed with my score (I got a 1950 but I was aiming for at least a 2000 on my first time). However, after looking at the detailed report online on the CB website, I think that CB might have made a mistake grading my Writing Section. Does this sound like a mistake to any of you SAT takers?

I got a 690 subscore and a 7 on the essay (I can do a lot better), but I only missed 4 questions and I got everything else right. Shouldn't my subscore be significantly higher, and as a result, my Wring grade also?

Edit: sorry, my score was a 650 overall (with a 690 subscore without the essay)

Thanks

no dats believable

i missed 2, got 8 essay got 710

you’re actually a bit luckier den me

sorry, i forgot to put my actual score on the original post

according to my princeton review book, i should have gotten a subscore around a 750 to a 790, and a overall score of 680 to a 720. thats significantly off from the 690 subscore and 650 overall I recieved. Should i complain?

i was disappointed with the curve myself, but there’s nothing wrong.
-3 and 9 essay = 710 for me.

4 wrong, -5 RAW, according to the BB, can be 69-79. Your score is within bounds; it must have been an easy test, so harsh curve. 7 Essay lowered to a 650.

Ok that seems logical. I wish I had done better on the essay then, since that would have definitely made me get a score closer to an 800. I know that curves are determined by the difficulty of the test, but just out of curiosity, what is the most points one can receive when a hard test is given?
