Does anybody know when MIT tells you whether or not you got accepted into the WISE program? The email they sent me only contained what I put onto my application and that's it.

@Africanus They just sent out the email out to everyone about their decisions

Oh yeah they did today… :(

@emenya Did you get in?

No unfortunately. I was really hoping to get in. (Well then again, who wasn’t?) How about you? @TIProgrammer84

@emenya I didn’t get in either. Really bummed about it because I was denied from MITES, E2@MIT, and MOSTEC too

@TIProgrammer84 ouch That sucks. I’m sorry about that. Hopefully you get into other programs you were looking into. I think they had this thing called Cornell in Diversity or something

@emenya Hopefully! I’m applying to Dartmouth STEM and the Rensselaer STAR program, which I hope to get in. I get letters about Cornell’s Diversity, but no actual fall program or anything of the sorts. Do you know the full name for it?

@TIProgrammer84 It’s called the Engineering Diversity Hosting Weekend Application. The deadline is the 18th with all results coming out on the 22nd of August. If you’re interested in engineering, go apply

Check your spam and junk folders! I was just looking through my email and decided to click the promotions tab (I have Gmail btw) which I never do, just because I was bored and there it was! WISE 2014 Decision! I’m surprised (but ecstatic) I was accepted. I’m attending the October 5-7 session. Anyone else?

@TakeTHAT46 congratulations! If you don’t mind, when you go in October could you post the experience when you get back from it on this post? Thanks

@TakeTHAT46 Congrats! Have a nice time in October!

@emenya Thanks! I don’t think I’ll be able to apply to that program, but I’ll try others!

@emenya, Thank you and will do! @TIProgrammer84, Thank you!
Good luck with other programs guiseee

@TakeTHAT46 My friend and I also got accepted to the October session for WISE.

I’ll be at the October session, too!
