this site https://decisions.mit.edu/decision.php says mit decisions are ready
is it a prank? do you know anything about this page
Last year, didn’t MIT announce regular admission decisions on 3/14 (Pi day)? If so, seems like this would be early though maybe last year they delayed it for super Pi day.
yeah I know that. also the site seems kinda spooky. so I dont want to give it my mymit name and password
@avalonian early action decisions, maybe?
omg! youre correct because if it were regular decision it would say waitlist not deferral
thank you so muchh @MITer94
I typed in my login information. Indeed it is for Early Action applicants only.
"Please make sure that you meet all of the following conditions:
You have applied for freshman admission (not transfer or graduate).
Your intended entry year (as designated in your MyMIT account) is 2016.
You applied Early Action."
Yep @avalonian you found them out. They definitely managed to setup a server on MIT’s network that is affiliate only, get it registered with MIT, and then fake a RSA-2048 certificate that was signed by the Incommon certificate authority all to get your myMIT login. Why go after MIT’s billions in endowments when they could have the login credentials of @avalonian. But seriously it is legit and is over a secure HTTPS connection, MIT just doesn’t like updating it’s masssssiiiivvvveeee network of websites.
Regular decisions are always announced on pi day.
dont you have smth to do better than mocking people
