MIT acceptance 2010

<p>I just got accepted into MIT for the Class of 2010!</p>

<p>My brother got in. His rank was something like 165/950. He had great SATs and by far the most outstanding and MITcore essays I have ever read.</p>

<p>MIT said that there would be an admitted students portal now at MyMIT. I don't see it? It said look there to reserve a spot for Campus Preview Weekend.</p>

its really not the classes that got me in i don't think, i always just took hard class for fun and stuff and didn't focus on grades... thats why i had a few Bs (in science) i think its just accurately displaying your passion and personality through all facets (letter of rec, interview, essays etc) </p>

Hook: Research, I wrote a paper in Neuropsychology, did some research in alternative energies, and mentioned having filed for thirteen patents.</p>

<p>I was an early accept, and I'd like to say congrats! to you all of you that were accepted in the regular round.</p>

<p>I was deferred --> denied at Caltech, and so I suppose that makes the deciding <em>very</em> easy. :P</p>
