Is there a webpage that lists all of the MIT admissions officers? I can't seem to find it on their website; all I see are their bloggers, which are only some of the admissions officers. Also, does MIT have admissions officers by region? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

MIT does not have regional admissions officers, and applications are not read by region.

From the admissions webpage:

Actually with regard to international applicants there is some regional reading, so for example, an admissions officer might end up reading ALL of the Indian applications. But there is no dedicated regional admissions officers.

My son noted this same issue when he applied. There was no place on the website which listed the names and contact info for any of the adcoms. However, if you attend a regional info session or go to one on campus, the adcom usually will be willing to give out his/her e-mail address, and my son did contact this person a couple of times with questions (any more than once or twice might seem obsequious).

If I remember correctly, there’s a general e-mail address that you can e-mail application questions / concerns to. If you have questions about MIT culture, you could also try asking your EC. Mine was super friendly and eager to help me out when I had questions.

I’m currently doing my Bachelors in Electrical and Electronic engineering in a Federal University in Nigeria (second year). In which I have a very strong desire to further my education at MIT EECS at the end of my 5years undergraduate program…
How good are my chances of getting into the EECS depatrment? Any advice and information is appreciated.
And any comment is welcome
Thanking you all in advance.
