Hi guys,

I was just hoping if you could give me some advice on my application to MIT. I want to EA to MIT.

look here for stats...

it looks like you have a great chance. make sure to emphasize certain things you are passionate about in your application.

i also want to go into pre-med and eventually become a doctor. on my app, i focused on my research at ohsu (a oregon med school) and my experience as a volunteer at kaiser hospital. also, i worked with key clubs in the pacific northwest district to raise money for the leukemia and lymphoma society, so i added that as well. i had other activities as well...such as yearbook, two varsity sports, nhs, music, leadership, etc... but (i think) what got me in is my strong interest in the medical field. basically, they want to know what you have done to pursue your dream(s). i think one of their essay prompts addresses this as well.

btw, will you be applying to brown PLME? you should take a look at that if you haven't already.

you look golden to me. As said above, just make sure that your passion for medicine/health-related sciences comes through in your app. Im guessing your biggest strength, besides the fact that you appear to be a very dedicated and successful student, is your talent in Indian Dance. I would definitely try to stress this in your app, whether it be in the essay, activities, etc. Good luck getting in!

yeah dancing and medicine...are definately something I will keep in mind while writing my apps. thanks a bunch for the advice

any adcoms have any advice on this? appreciate it =) thanks
