MIT and Stanford

I got 720 on SAT math2
and 680 on SAT physics

I know i should retake SAT physics but Should I retake SAT math2?
or spend time on something else

Also, I got a 5 on AP Calculus AB. Should I take AP calculus BC?
Or colleges think "AP cal BC has a generous curve and thus, it is easier to get a 5. Getting a 5 on AP calculus AB is pretty good too"?

Yes, you should retake SAT Math 2. Definitely. Get a 750+ for Physics, and an 800 for Math 2. And yes, you should take Calculus BC. A 5 on AP Calculus AB is okay, but you really should take Calculus BC considering the fact that everyone else would have taken at least Calculus BC by the time they apply. You wouldn’t want to be left behind, would you?

And um…does BC really have a generous curve? That’d be kind of nice I guess…

A lot of Calculus BC test takers score 5 because that population is self-selecting – generally, it is the students who are best at math who take Calculus BC (as opposed to Calculus AB).

^^It’s easy to get a “5”.

47% of test takers got a 5 this year on BC.

AP Calculus BC scores, 2011: 47.0% = 5; 16.3% = 4; 17.2% = 3; 5.9% = 2; 13.6% = 1.

Yes I definitely agree with #2.

It is not too difficult to get 5 on AP CAL BC or AP whatever.

Math 2: 720 is low
Physics: 680 is low

Your SAT II scores will hurt your chances at MIT and Stanford (or at any selective college).
