White male, good public school in CT

I plan on applying to Harvard EA, UNC Chapel Hill EA Uconn EA, and RD to BU, Brown, GW, Georgetown, MIT, Penn, Princeton, Tufts, Wesleyan, Yale

I think you have a good chance, but why not apply EA?
You can apply to MIT, UNC, and UConn for EA (you can’t apply to UNC under Harvard’s SCEA policy).

It’s always best to apply to as many schools as possible during the EA round; you’ll be among the first students to be considered.

You can apply to Georgetown EA as well (without doing Harvard.) That’s a total of 4 decisions in December.

Actually, Harvard’s policy, if you look at the Q&A on their website has been clarified, you may apply early action to any public school you wish. [Harvard College Admissions § Applying: Early Action](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/application_process/early.html)

And I have thought about that, however, Harvard is my first choice, (MIT is #2)

Oh, I wasn’t aware of the change.
Well, good luck because you’re a strong candidate.
