<p>I had a friend who was an athletic recruit to MIT for soccer. He had 2300+ SAT scores, 3.9+ GPA, had talked to the soccer coach and played with the team multiple times before being rejected because his math/science SATII scores and ECs weren’t excellent. It’s hard for us here on CC to accurately gauge your worth to the school as a recruit which makes it hard to chance but understand that being an athletic recruit doesn’t excuse any lackluster scores/</p>
