OH, BTW i got into Princeton

Bump!!!!! Bump

well if you got into Princeton, I'm assuming you'll have to go there. ED after all.

Um, your screenname is PrincetonFreak, you got into Princeton. Since both schools have a similar cost, I do not understand why you do not attend your apparent first choice school Princeton?

lol, what?

I know Mu, everyone seems to hate that part but its a fact of life and you know it

not for most people living in a rural city... I did mine all by myself

To be honest, I would feel bad paying somebody to check my essay. It is alright to let a few people proofread it and give some comments. But money is different; I would not want to "buy" myself into MIT.

OP...

It doesn't matter... If you got into Princeton ED (Binding!!!!!!), you're going there. Don't worry about MIT, cause you're definitely wont be in Boston next Fall.

:)

You have to withdraw your other apps asap. Princeton will catch you somehow if you don't. Princeton's ED gives a much higher chance of an applicant to get in to the school because it shows your commitment. If MIT does accept you, they'll de-accept you once Princeton tracks your ssn down.

Didn't you already post this elsewhere? And get evaluations from other people as well?

er, what is your purpose after all? got accepted into Princeton? GO TO PRINCETON!!! why bother asking for chances at MIT? I got really ****ed off after i read the last line. Seriously, while other people are praying for their application, you got into PRINCETON and still ask for more. WHAT"S WRONG WITH YOU????

Um, you have to go to Princeton. You applied there ED. It's binding. You also are required to withdraw your MIT application immediately.

Your chance: 0, since you got into Princeton.

You might want to withdraw your MIT app NOW, or you won't have a school to go to next fall.

I'm not sure you should be allowed to go to Princeton next year, if you don't even understand what EARLY DECISION means.

Haha the OP got flamed on the WAMC board already for paying for his essays. In fact, the discourse escalated such that the mods recently closed it.

this guy's obviously a troll. He posted asking his chances for Princeton on Christmas, so there's no way he coulda gotten in ED.

You guys are crazy.. I wrote all my essays on my own accord, and only got my parents, who grew up in a non-English speaking country I might add, to proof-read them - I truly wish there was space to mention that in the application :(

Indians tend to be crazy when it comes to college admissions. I can attest to that directly and authoritatively. :)

vrumchev. Yeah I did that with some of my essays, but even if you were able to put that down on the application, I don't think that admissions officers would find that impressive. One thing about being a good student is to always ask for help. You could have asked a teacher to proof read your essays.

kinda hard to do when formal school ended for you in late October :)
