Anyway here's my resume :</p>

( British IGCSE education system btw )
IGCSE : 9 A* and 1 A
AS Level : 4 A ( maximum at AS Level is A )
A-Level : 3 A*
SAT 1 : 2100
SAT 2 : Maths IIC 750, Chem 800</p>
<p>ECAs :
International Bronze Award ( Year 12, current year )
Debating Club, and I'm planning to enter formal competitions in the spring( Yr 12 )
Kuwait Science Fair, competition still pending ( Yr 12 )
Chess club ( Yr 12 )
MUN, did two conferences ( Yr 12)
Chess Club ( Yr 12 )
Volunteer at Kuwait Red Crescent Society since 2010, totalling 160+ hours of service
Member of Kuwait Science Club in 2009</p>

<p>Also, I heard from a friend of my dad's that being an Egyptian I have an advantage because they only allow 1 or 2 Egyptians a year, and everybody agrees with me that no other Egyptian can possibly think of applying to MIT ( ambitious I know, but honestly nobody here thinks about the USA to start! ). So is this quota on Egyptians true or what?
So, should I try applying, or will it just be a waste of time?
