MIT EA Decisions To Be Posted Saturday, 12/14, at 12:14 PM ET | MIT Admissions

came here to post this

you’re fast

omg omg omg omg omg omg

omg omg omg omg omg omg

Are emails with the decisions link being sent out to all? Sorry for not being clear the first time

what do you mean?

Looking at the stats of people who have applied before, I feel so naive for applying to MIT. Most people seem to have major state awards, etc etc… my application pales in comparison to theirs, in both lack of perfect scores and lack of such awards. I hope MIT weights essays and our insights/worldviews more than scores and awards.

Good luck to all of you who applied this year. Here’s to hoping you land a position at THE greatest university in the world. You are the 1,500 best students - scientists, scholars, and innovators of the future - the ones with a vision and the ones with a bright future ahead of you - you are the people who will change the world through human advancement.

Personally, I feel like we are all in the same boat… We all underestimate ourselves and overestimate the surface achievements of others. But, as Chris & Co. have stressed ad nauseum, it’s not about the achievements or scores. It’s about you.

Best of luck to everyone, both on 12/14 and for stress management leading up till then.
