SAT II Score: 2400 (800 Math, 800 Chem, 800 Phy)

Grades: All A+ from grade 9-11. Mid-Sem grades in 12th also all A+.

Class Rank: NA. But my teacher told she has mentioned that I am in the top 1% in my school.

Recomm: Computer Teacher’s LOR should be excellent. Counsellor’s would be very good.

Essays: 7/10

ECs: Numerous national and International Level wins

Leadership: President Student Council in my school.

I guess essays were the Achilles Heel.

@APzack The waitlist isn’t ranked – in early May, when they know how many people they can admit from the waitlist, they will have another meeting and consider all the waitlisted applications again.

It’s to your advantage, if you’re waitlisted, to keep MIT up to speed on awards, achievements, etc. between now and then.
