@MITChris uhh accept me to mit pls thanks

I highly recommend you go watch (3 hours) the 2.009 Presentation Event that aired tonight…it is such a great look inside MIT and its people, culture, and incredible talent. The entire presentation from Prof. Wallace to the band to the kids. If this doesn’t get you excited about MIT, don’t apply! http://web.mit.edu/2.009/webcast/

Super excited about Thursday! Good luck, everyone.

I’m very nervous. Thursday is approaching so soon!

OH MY GOD GUYS. ONLY ONE MORE DAY UNTIL MY MIT REJECTION LETTER COMES OUT!!!

SO EXCITED

Is anyone else unreasonably anxious for tomorrow… :-S

Any engineering applicants here?

Yeah I’m a mechanical engineering applicant, you?

I <3 the feeling of impending rejection with my life

I’m so nervous!!! I think I would not get in.

This is such a weird feeling lol

I’m 100% okay with a rejection/deferral. I’m just thrilled to be able to say that I applied to MIT  Whatever happens, happens.

@lhw1998 Can you honestly tell us that you are 100% okay with rejection? I’m not saying that you can’t think that way; I’m just asking if that’s really what you think.

@ManaManaWegi I’ll be crushed of course, but I understand that I’m in a pool of applicants who have done/will do truly incredible things with their lives. If I get rejected, that’s simply a testament to the competitiveness of the other applicants. A rejection isn’t going to stop me from eventually achieving my goals.

Just wanted to wish everybody good luck for tomorrow. My daughter went through this last year and it was one of the worst days in her life until 6.28. Her day got way better after that.

Try to distract yourself until decision time and expect the worst and hope for the best.

Thanks @anitram – preparing for the worst.

Hi everyone – just wonder – did you all interview with an MIT alum?

Yep, website says acceptance rates for students who dont interview is around 1/10 of those that do @CA1543

I’m a RD applicant, but I just want to wish all the EA applicants best of luck tomorrow. (I’ll be in your position on 3/13)
