Like compare student A and student B and their likeliness

STUDENT B
SAT : 1590/1600
SAT Math Level 2 : 760 SAT Physics :770 SAT Chem : 800
Portfolio : None
@piORpie I think it would defend on more factors than just the portfolio in most cases. Course rigor, GPA, quality of essay responses, to some extent demographics, interview, recommendations… There are many factors involved so usually no one thing leads to an acceptance or rejection unless it’s extraordinary.
@ptolemycleopatra I do realize what u are speaking abt.
However, I was talking more in the lines of comparison in the sense everything else for STUDENT A AND B is same (infact they are siblings) , the only diff being the one mentioned above.

Getting in would be so. so. so. so. so. so. so. so. awesome though. My mind already made up so many different scenarios about the moment of decision that I can’t even imagine being surprised about anything anymore, lol! (Other than getting accepted of course, that’d still be a huuuge surprise. A huge, awesome, and totally epic surprise :P)
Can’t wait - And at the same time, I’m not sure if I truly am ready to receive the decision!
Oh well, time to distract myself a bit.

Guys, rejection decisions come out this Tuesday. I can hardly contain myself.
haven’t posted here, but im also an rd 2021 applicant! can’t wait for the decisions!
im from around boston, and we are to get a lot of snow this tuesday, so my current plan is to get the softest pillows and comforters, cozy pjs, hot chocolate, good soundtrack (marian hill’s music video for down is also coming out on tuesday - im psyched!!!), and wait for everyone to start getting their letters!!!
MIT, the only university where even the @ChozenJuan might not get in.
i hope two days from now leaves y’all hap(PI) :~)
deferred ea applicant checking in! nm what happens, i’m still grateful to have the chance to apply, to have the chance to dream, and to have sent a screenshot of a MIT pun post to the admissions office two days before the decisions come out (at least they’ll get a laugh, right?).
im totally ready to embrace the rejection coming out in 44 hrs, which I have expected all along since the moment i submitted my application to mit.
I got rejected from Caltech and I was like “HAHA CALTECH IS A TRASH SCHOOL!! MIT IS WAY BETTER!!”
I’m not sure what I should do when I also get rejected from MIT, which is a high possibility
@MadAstro I did the same for Georgia Tech! I was rejected EA for some unknown reason (looking back though, I wrote about attending a summer program at MIT for one of their essay prompts), I then boldly said Georgia Tech is a trash school! No idea what to say after a rejection from MIT
