D got in!!! First time posting, long time lurker, good luck to all of you!
Deferred. I was expecting this. 4.0 UW and 1500 SAT (800M, 700R).
DS deferred. Feels like a rejection. On to plans B, C, and D.
Deferred, time to apply to more schools just in case it doesn’t work out in March! Good luck to all my deferred buddies, hopefully, we get in! <3
Son was secreted as well. Here’s hoping all the accepted kids get into their EA choices. Lol
any of you still waiting for the email? Haven’t got notified yet
there is no email. decisions.mit.edu
Oops, my mistake, checked it now. Got deferred. That isn’t too bad, I thought I would be outright rejected
Glad to see MIT at least sees some value in me!
deferred. i really couldn’t care less tho lol
LOL -I’m worried all these other schools getting floods of applications right before their deadline will know they are second choice schools of those deferred by other top schools… Just a bummer cause MIT was his clear first choice (thus why he did EA- but of course, it’s probably a lot of kids’ first choice…
mitadmissions.org blog is down for me
Haha, want to say my son was deferred as well.but tablet changed it to secreted which is odd.good luck to everyone else who was deferred.
I GOT IN
congrats!! @PerksOfHim

Deferred, I’m so glad that it’s not a rejection. Otherwise I’ll be too discouraged in the rest of my applications.
Congrats to all who either concluded or otherwise are still on the journey! No matter what hands you were dealt with, just remember life is always bigger than those checkboxes thrown at you, and you are only defined by what you can achieve and will!!
