Of note is the middle 50% ACT Composite score range [35,36], which is their highest ever, finally matching Caltech’s. In recent years MIT had [34,36], and this is not an insignificant change considering their class size if about 4.5 four times that of Caltech’s.
Of course, this information will be of little help to the class of 2025 applicants with MIT going test optional (and Caltech, test-blind) in the wake of Covid-19, which new Caltech’s class of 2024 profile page makes abundantly clear.
