Hello All,

I have recently been rejected by the colleges that I ranked for national college match. However, my friend, who ranked MIT as one of his eight school choice, received an email from MIT on Dec. 1st which asked him to apply to Early Action and gave him a link to do so.

However, I, who also ranked MIT as one of my choice but was rejected, did not receive an email from MIT even though it has been more than two days now.

Did anyone else who applied to MIT get? Did anyone not get it?

Thank you

I ranked MIT as a #1, and I didn’t get matched.
I got MIT Early Action link. I used it, because MIT still is my #1.
However now I have dilema, what to do with Regular Decision Application Forwarding (Due December 15)?
Should I do check for MIT or not?
I already used my link to MIT, that I want them to consider me for EA.

@seniorsfo. You don’t need to do anything else if you’ve notified MIT you want to be considered for EA. In the EA round, you can be accepted, rejected, or deferred to their RD round; it’s MIT’s decision, at this point.

@seniorsfo…

Did you receive a confirmation from MIT after you applied EA?

I did not receive confirmation after forwarding my application for EA to MIT, but the next day I emailed them regarding my test scores, and their response assured me that there was no problem for EA, so I confirmed that way. Try sending them an email?

I did not receive confirmation yet, but it was Friday night.

I wish all of you the best of luck on MIT…

MIT was my #1 choice but got rejected…but i was matched with Stanford!! so im happy as a clam!
