<p>If I'm looking to do science research summer program? Should I bother applying for this? I really want to have the option to experience MIT life (hoping RSI&MITES :/)</p>

I google to find more info and it didn’t come up the program. You have to find it at a specific link I guess.</p>

But it does ask for transcript, 4 page PowerPoint of yourself, resume of ECs and stuff.</p>

Also, do any of you have any idea about the acceptance rate? Since they admit 30-40 people I presume it would be in the 5-25% range.</p>

<p>I also replied RD. I sent them an email about two months ago and never got a response…I am a bit skeptical at this point about the program.</p>

<p>Ok phew. It seems like no one else has gotten an interview yet…kind of strange. And March 31 is coming up really soon. They’re only accepting 35 people but I’m not sure how many applied.</p>
<p>Yeah…I’m curious. I really want to know how many people applied because this is the first year MIT is having this program. They said they were reviewing applications from Feb 1 to March 31…they must have chosen others for interviews. Anyways, good luck!</p>
