It is written that students in non US school systems should not fill it.
If you feel your system is not American then you should not complete it
I personally am from Bulgaria and will not fill it.

As for International honors. I have 6 international medals. 2 Silver 2 Bronze and 2 not defined. They are from International olympiad in informatics (IOI) Balkan OI (regional with th e neighbouring countries) and 2 from Australian Math Contest.
Hope they are highly valued, cause I do not have any other honors except for these in Informatics.

mine are in Chemistry

I'm applying, from the Philippines.

Currently, no Filipino undergraduates there. Sure hope I'll be the first one, unless Yale wants me. :)

"Even though China wins IMO almost very single year, MIT only accepts 11 UGs with Chinese passports... Less than South Korea(13) and = Thailand. It's solely due to political reasons."

I just read an article saying the Chinese are right behind Middle Easterners in terms of experiencing toughest time in getting visas. Part of the reasons, the article quoted from some expert, is that the Chinese tends to major in fields the US government deems "sensitive". However, you never know if there are really many Chinese applying to MIT's undergrad programs; they have fine engineering schools that have nice track records of sending the graduates to the best grad programs in the US.

actually only 2-3 chinese are accepted each year to MIT.
The total no of Chinese students at MIT is 11

hmm. I hope MIT is understanding about deferring admission in those cases. Which countries are not represented at MIT?

Every country seems to be there. :) Check for yourself:

Hey, there's no Kyrgyzstan, and I'm from Kyrgyzstan. Can that mean anything?

Can anyone access to MyMIT? I cannot!!! How can I complete my reg then :(

meder: I have no idea. We don't know how many people applied from Kyrgyzstan each year. Even if we do, we don't know what their stats are, so we can't come to any conclusion.

ipsen: I can log on to MyMIT. If there were a problem with the server, I supposed it had been fixed.
