as far as i know, they hand out acceptances through email too. They have online portals.

You’ll receive a paper mail nonetheless (only acceptances though) :-)

Oh that could very well be true! :D

@peepingtom there is nothing like that. Colleges send acceptance and rejection by 2 methods:
- An email
- A decisions portal

Also, few days after decision, you get a snail mail.

I guess I didn’t know that, Do they hand out rejections through postal mail through too?

I think For domestic students they send different ‘size of Packets’… and the students assume if a packet is large it’s acceptance, if it’s small is rejection (somebody in a thread asked what will be the size of wait listed lolzz), but for us internationals , probably we are going to hear the news via email or online portal first , then via postal mail to accepted students…
The waiting is killer… Have applied to 14 university’s, all are regular decision… First one is MIT ,14TH… BIT WILL NOT OPEN TILL 24TH , end of boards… What you say guys

Why did you not apply EA/ED anywhere?

@newstine
Hahaha, you can try to that, but I don’t think it’ll be possible. XD
The anxiety will kill you and knowing that it is right there, just a few clicks away will surely make you want to have a peek.
If you can manage that then it’ll be great, cos afterall a rejection mustn’t hurt your performance in the papers.
Btw, CBSE board?

Well pointed out, @StanCardinal
It’s actually been scientifically proven (that you can die of anxiety). But that’s a good resolve @newstine, you may think that you can handle rejection well (trust me, you can’t, no one can), so it’d be better if you open the portal after the exams.

I think its better to look all the decisions at ones… So you don’t get the anxiety of rejection… Either rejected from all or say a few acceptance… @StanCardinal …
No I am from West Bengal board…

@peepingtom I didn’t plan for studies in USA, I was busy in my INCHO perpetration…
And have not given much thoughts on EA/EDS…WHATDOYOUTHINK guys ,WPI OR SKIDMORE…

Yea, you’re right but you’ll have to wait until all results are declared to see them all at once.

Definitely Skidmore, you can go for a 3-2 engineering program from there.

I just wish a bachelor… Next see what happens… I love Skidmore

@peepingtom which school you are from ?

I’m from a Cambridge school. When you opt for the 3-2 program, you get 2 degrees, a BA/BS in chosen major from the LAC and a BE in chosen field of engineering (mech, electrical etc.) from the NU.

And also from Dartmouth… I know that… But, I am an entrepreneur, I have two companies, so… I don’t know what I will do

I may Complete my undergraduate then mature my companies and then join grad school…

I really have bo idea what are you trying to say, By NU, I meant National University.

I am saying Skidmore offers program to Dartmouth after 3 years of study at Skidmore…
But, I wish to complete my 4 years of bachelor in one place then do some entrepreneurial works… Then again join some grad school
