Okay, But go to grad school for what?? You must have a subject in mind, right?

Astrophysics or electronics and robotics and. entrepreneurship

Not pretty sure now…

same here, it’s either Physics or Applied Mathematics, some inclination is towards Computer Sc and Economics too.

Hook… finger crossed

Do tell me your results when they get out. Good Luck :-)

Yah sure… Provide me your email I’d in private message… Thankx… you too

I’ll be applying for the class of 2019, so thanks. my mail is: whyshouldihaveanid[at]gmail[dot]com

Nice I’d any way…

Nobody from mumbai & chennai? How is it possible. We have medalists applying from here as well. It clearly depends on alumni interview.

What sort of medalists are you talking about, National or International? or just qualifiers?
Moreover, I don’t think that the list on the first page is exhaustive (although it says so), 'cause I know a medalist from Mumbai who got an interview!

National. I don’t know of anyone. Maybe because of that I think nobody in mumbai did. Who got it ?

All I can say is that his SAT score is 2380.

Damn
He deserves it then.
Thanks. Maybe after all I got better a calculating probabilities. I am getting rejected :P

First off, Don’t lose hope, you’re not rejected, not yet, at least! and one more thing SATs are nothing, every Indian gets 2300+, even I got 2340 (one sitting). It’s the essays and recs that make or break (at the elites, not publics). So, if you’re sure you got good recs and wrote good essays, then just cross your fingers and wait.

@Abhi27nav I have 2190, and I dont think SAT matters. I have got likelies from 2 colleges including one of my top 3 choices (in fact it might be my top choice) and a Harvard interview so yea. One test cannot make or break your app. It needs to be strong overall.

Honestly i never planned upon studying in the US until six months back. And anything i did, was never directed towards a college admissions.

Boards going pretty awesome till now. Yet to face chem.

Missed one -
Already trained uptill 3rd year of university physics at Arnold Sommerfeld centre for theoretical physics and ETH zurich.

And i am not ashamed to admit a really low ACT. Cuz i took it with two weeks’ prep and viral fever. ACT28 with a 36 math.

@Abhi27nav I dont know if I have the right to but I will really really recommend you take take a drop year and get your SAT to 2200 or ACT to 33 at least. With those ECs you deserve to go to an amazing place, but unfortunately 28 is a bit too low for top colleges (you just might get lucky if someone sees the potential). Any SAT 2s/APs/TOEFL?

^Only saying this coz you deserve to go to a top college.
