MIT Launch Program 2015

I am currently a freshman in high school and planning on applying to the MIT Launch Program. Could someone chance me on my likelyhood with these following stats?

GPA (unweighted):3.75
Classes: Honors Chem, Honors Literature, Honors Spanish, AP US Gov, Honors Language, AP CompGov
Extracurriculars: President of NJHS, Recognized Debater, Recognized Quiz Bowl Player, Nationally recognized field hockey player, Programmer/Hacker at many hackathons
Entreprenurial and Leadership: Founder of a non-profit, Founder and president of a web design company, Founder of a teen powered online newspaper
Standardized Test Scores :N/A (haven't taken any but if APs count, I got a 5 on AP World History)
Race: Indian

Also, with that said, what kind of post-program benefits does MIT Launch offer? Does it look good on college apps? Does it significantly increase chances to Harvard, MIT, etc.?

You can only write 5 activites and you have a good chance if you show your passion. I am applying to launch to and hope to see you there.

Your profile gives you a good chance, but being a freshman will decrease that chance too. Even if you do get in, you’d be marginalized as the youngest kid. Based on that, if I were you, I wouldn’t go to something like MIT Launch just yet. Try something you can do on your own, such as volunteering, or a summer program built for younger kids.

After Launch, you should be able to continue the business you started in the program. It does look good on college apps, but it won’t significantly increases chances to the top schools, such as Harvard and MIT, because everyone will have gone to equally prestigious summer programs.

One thing I’d like to underscore is launch might not look on college apps , but it gives you the ability to start your own company , which is a good indication of your passion and something that you care about. The ability to do so at a young age impresses college as there are very few successful high school entrepreneurs

You’d also have to be successful during and after your time at Launch, though. Just going to Launch won’t make you a successful entrepreneur.

I’m gonna need some help here~ http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/profile/discussions/100395651/dazedaura
