@0x0001 They said they would send out the form in a couple of days.
@slzhang I see… Thanks!
@0x001 @slzhang Congrats!! Did you get a interview request right after the views went up? How long did it take for you to get a request? Just got a view from ohio
@allialli I forgot… but the view was from Massachusetts tho
I got my interview last Thursday, March 16. It was fun! When will decisions come out, if I had my interview then?
Also, what % of people that get an interview get in? It’s pretty high right?
@slzhang @0x0001 congrats!! How long after you got your interview did you find out you were accepted? I have mine on Thursday.
Update: ACCEPTED INTO SESSION ONE! Interviewed Saturday 3/20, accepted today Tuesday 3/22.
@ZNanoKnight Wow see you this summer!
how long after the interview do you know if you are accepted?
Until when will they be sending out Interview Requests? I haven’t gotten one yet.
I haven’t also got the interview request, I hope they are still sending them.
Hopefully
Just finished my interview. It was great!
I would mention, that if you do not get an interview, then it really means that you stand no chances. I applied previous year too and had no interview, and as expected, I wasn’t accepted.
This year although, I got the interview and I’m really positive that I’ll get selected. Also, the interviewer said at the end “Looking forward to meeting you at MIT.” So I guess, I’m in(?).
It is very likely that interview is a first pass review. If you don’t get an interview, it means you didn’t pass the first round review (aka stand no chance). Then they factor in both your application (video, essays, transcript, etc) and your interview to make a final decision.
Idk hopefully I’ll find out soon. Had my interview last Thursday, and at the interview he said “Decisions come out by April 15, so be on the lookout for that” I have No idea if he’s indicating something or not, but hopefully it’s something good!
I feel like everyone is freaking out about not getting an interview, and on the other forum someone said second pass means interview. Mine says Regular-First Pass Review and I got a Youtube view from California about a month ago. I’m glad I was able to apply, and I’m sure there’s more interviews to be dished out, but could anyone who got in let me know if their status says first or second pass? Or just anyone who got interviewed? Also, I’ve seen in the past forums that an interview doesn’t mean you got in and vice versa if you didn’t get an interview. I think interviews are to get a better idea who you are though. Sorry for the long message.
Also, the decisions are by April 15. Some people (like myself) have already received decision… I feel it’s more like rolling admission
