Probably, depending on where you live...

tommorow god that would be perfffeect i don;t even have to send ssp that letter than

i live in michigan so,, is that a good chance for tmr?

Well, to think about it, it may be more like wednesday espically if they sent out decisions today.

man this has been my first rejection ever, IT SUCKS

well, work on some things, and maybe it'll be your last.

hey, hey shut up. na jk. im gonna blame it on the fact that i sent it late on the deadline. (even if that wasnt it, shut up)

and I want you guys to know whether or not you get accepted or rejected, you're awesome :)

but let's hope for acceptance letters, ya.

tzky, what were the dates they offered for you to go? or did they even have dates yet?

and hey, at least it's not flat out rejection, right?

well, as the guy was talking to me i was sad, he told m e the name of the program and the dates, i think i heard the number 24, he said hed email me the information soon. i still havent received it.

Oh gosh so this is what i think.

They finalized the decisions of who got accepted or not today. They began calling people who were awsome candidates, yet there was not enough room to give these wonderful people a slot in the program this year, and they began work on this so called program book they send with the acceptance letters (if they're sent with the acceptance letters)

They will finish calling the wonderful candidates tomorrow, finish the program book and print them (or send them to the printing shop) and begin compling information packets for those accepted.

Wednesday - they will pick up the program books if they ordered super rush service or if they are to do these themselves, then they will mail these with the packets. The packets will be picked up by the mail man, where they will be sorted by the mail people

Thursday - The decisions will now take 1-5 days to arrive to our houses depending on how far their destination is from Cambridge.

i would just like a simple email saying that i'm in. is that too much to ask?

oh gosh i don't time this month to worry about having to wait for the letter, why couldn't we have dealt with this last month...

i'm not posting anything in this thread until i receive my letter. so bye guys.

whoa really tzky1900 and selpaso? Thats still pretty awesome. Can you give us your stats(or maybe you already did)? So that some of us who are getting hyped here can have an idea of what MIT sees as an awesome stat.

mine is in some page before, probably around 4 or 5 (4 or 5 pages before this one). thx for calling it "awesome"

its from april 24 to 27, its the MIT junior fly in program . its one weekend. free

Okay, now I'm excited. But waiting is no fun...

I got a call today. They said that i didn't get in, but invited me to the MIT junior fly-in. The lady said that I didn't get in because MITES is supposed to be an experience for people who wouldn't otherwise be exposed to a rigorous courseload, and that they thought I wouldn't benefit from it. I'm pretty disappointed though. I really wanted to go. Well good luck to those of you waiting! and Congratulations to acceptees. If anyone wants, I can give a brief overview of my stats, but they probably wouldn't be helpful to anyone.

ok so far no call. I guess thats a good thing, right? lol
