So not to get in your face with my acceptance. I had some questions about the letter. When it says list 3 places you would like to go in Boston, is it any places in Boston or from the field trip list

Also for those who are going what elective are you rankin first.

four more hours until the mailman............nice essays guys! i don't think mine's that good as yours.......mine's really crappy and probably boringgggg

I have nothing in the mail today. I called MITES's office and they said that everything, not just the acceptance letters, were sent on Thursday. And she said that I should be expecting a letter any day now. This means that if you have not gotten a letter does not mean that you were rejected! However, it is strange that no one has been rejected yet(a coincidence perhaps?).

I'm kinda getting the feeling that MITES didn't send these letters out first class. For those that have already received it, was it first class?

i don't think so. I live in Connecticut, and is pretty close to MA, yet other ppl much furthur from where I live already got their letters. So this seems like i'm going to be rejected.....no mail today......:(

But the MITES lady said that it was all sent out at the same time. Unless USPS prioritizes larger envelopes over smaller envelopes, that can't mean that everyone who has not gotten a letter is rejected. And anyways, just because you are close doesn't mean very much. Since the mail is transferred by plane anyways I think it depends on how many places the mail is transferred to. As I doubt that mails make straight trips from MA to where-ever you live. And then it depends on how long it takes to process the mail at each stop. So these factors could all delay the mail. Just a theory though, I do not know the USPS system like the back of my hand.

I don't know!! I really love every program i applied too. I always thought that I would go to SSP no matter what, but since receiving MITES acceptance letter, I may change my mind. And I have to still consider Caltech's YESS. Oh geez :p
