MIT slideroom composition music resume what to write?

I am applying to MIT and the deadline is currently approaching, the school has an option to submit addition information via SlideRoom and I am a composer who has written many pieces. I am currently stuck on the Music Resume

Music resume *

Attach a music resume in pdf format that includes the following: recent repertoire studied and/or performed; regional or state festival participation and awards or honors received, if any; theory studies completed; ensemble experience; and examples of ensemble repertoire performance. Include any second instruments or doubling instruments you play.

I don’t know what to put for this being a composer. Should I put pieces that I have had performed and if so what format and information should I put for each piece.

That list is for instrumentalists. You need to focus on composition. There is no set format. You can come up with your own.

As a composer, you can list any and all of your musical activities and accomplishments. But focus on composition:

List pieces that you have composed (title duration, when composed), and list performances, where they were played, when and by whom. Pieces composed and performances can be separate llsts (unless all of your pieces have been performed!).

List lessons w/ teacher name and teacher qualifications if appropriate, and any courses or classes taken in or out of school. Did you do theory classes at all? List summer programs.

List any awards, competitions, in or out of school.

If you play an instrument, you can also list instruments played, ensembles you are in, awards and competitions (all state?) but no need to list repertoire.

Do you work with electronics or digital audio work stations? Have you composed for film, video games, dance, other media?

You can also have an “other” category. For instance, if you have taught music to kids, volunteered for a local orchestra, done outreach etc. etc. These usually are at college level but just mentioning in case.

Honestly, I am trying to give an idea of scope but you can list anything music-related and decide on groupings, headings and so on that best fit your experiences.
