MIT Summer Women Technology Program!

Hey
I'm a junior from a prep school in New England..

Have you guys heard of this program? If I am admitted with tuition reduction.
Should I go?

The program is about "Electrical engineering, computer science and discrete math." I have never had experience in "electrical engineering" or any kind of engineering..Will I be able to survive?

If I reject the offer, does it mean that my chance to get into MIT next year will be very low?

I heard that MIT's engineering is No. 1 in the world, but I am not sure that I am going to major in engineering..

Thank you very much!

I would check out last year's WTP thread -- there's some good info about the program, and you could PM any of the people who participated last year.

Absolutely not -- I don't even think MIT would keep track of that sort of information, so they wouldn't know if you didn't tell them.

Thank you so much!

If you get a chance to pick a program from Stanford Summer Math Program and WTP, which one would you prefer?

WTP!!!! It was a blast :-)

IT WAS, IT WAS, TOTALLY PICK WTP OVER STANFORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! honest, if you have the chance, go! it'll be the best summer of your life! (ooh and you can PM me or krica for more info :D)

sorry, to clarify, I meant "It was, it was a blast", in response to krica's post.

what's the percentage of getting in SUMaC (stanford one)? until now so far, all I heard it's accept...but it seems famous~
