Did anybody else get emailed about this or have experience with it? I got contacted by an MIT undergrad, and they allowed me to ask questions about life there and what-not (though I didn't ask much because I was caught off guard, sadly). Is the fact that they contacted me any clue to how I'll be seen during the admissions process? I'm a rising senior, btw.

Never heard of it, and can’t seem to find anything about it on MIT’s website… O.o

The email they sent me makes it seem like a new thing. I would give the website, but I guess since it’s not easily accessible, it’s not really meant to be out there for everybody. I know I probably sound like a ■■■■■ right now.

I got that email also, but as far as I know, I never got a call. I followed the link that they put in the email and updated my info as well. When did they contact you, and was it by phone?

Hi indy - we’re still calling folks for TOP this year. We got a big response so it’s just taking awhile :)

@MITChris

I got contacted as well. Can you please elaborate on how you choose certain people to contact over others? Because I really don’t think my scores are up to par with MIT standards…

Well maybe you are wrong! ;)
