Just let me know how you think I might fair. Stanford for some reason loves CC students. I know it is odd that I want to transfer from a top university, but I feel that I have very compelling reasons to transfer.

im not sure what your gpa's translate to on a 4 point scale, but they nonetheless look very good...lots of those schools are next to impossible to get into, but you'll definantly have as good a shot as anybody...a very good shot...but why didnt you go to columbia or dartmouth? youre going to have to give them a good explanation of why you didnt go initially and reassure them that you are prepared to go now

What do you like about the schools you are applying to that isn't offered at MIT. I've heard it said many times that your reasons for wanting to transfer are just as important as your qualifications.

there are so many reasons lol.. my reasons are solid.. first off, you have to remember that MIT is a tech school, and all its students love tech things.. so it gets a bit overwhelming and you don't really learn anything new from the student body - i underestimated how tech MIT was.

^OK so those are reasons that prove what is wrong with MIT. But they say nothing about the schools that you're interested in.

Good shot at the Ivies. Transferring is tough but I think you have the best shot possible.

I agree you have as good a shot as anyone. For Wharton make sure to take the necessary pre reqs.

Wonder how it has turned out. where are you going this fall, cubbies7177?

I can’t believe this. Go ahead, just crush all my dreams of getting into Stanford. :(

Just out of curiosity, did you go to Andover? :o

from my inductive reasoning
you are a korean from a prep school in MA CT NH or roundabouts
i mean since you did get into MIT…u prolly have good chance
goood luckkkkkkkkkkk

wow :)… you so impressive :)… haha… I think you have a great shot at all of those schools. Just make sure you tailor your essays specifically for each college. GL and let us know

Did you get in?
