I go to a school with a very strong research curriculum, which i think is helpful. I am a first generation immigrant from eastern europe.

What do u think my chances are for the schools I listed?

By the way your ACT scores are great! And I have been thinking about applying to Cornell U. My sat score is 2150 and my subject score is 800 math2, 790 physics. And 780 chemistry. But I am an international student and I need finaid to attend. This makes it really hard for me to get accepted. I almost forgot my ecs-president of chess and charity clubs, vp of debate and environmental club. There are others but there are the prominent ones. CHANCE ME. I’LL CHANCE BACK.

Academically, not bad. However, your ECs are a bit lacking. If you could highlight specific research opportunities you have taken advantage of and a passion in engineering, you’d have a decent shot at Cornell, Vandy, and Carnegie Mellon. CalTech, Princeton, MIT, and Stanford are high reaches and UMich is a safety.
