<p>I would definitely have to go with MIT. I loved MIT's atmosphere when I went, and the location is good as well. I've never been to Princeton, but assuming that it's not too different than Harvard I'd have to say it's a bit too old-money for me, and there is also the fact that it is in New Jersey. Dartmouth I wouldn't even consider, as I couldn't stand living in the middle of nowhere for four more years.</p>
<p>Sleepy 23, have you visited Princeton? My son applied in engineering, but when we visited, he found the weight of tradition oppressive rather than inspiring. The classes we happened to sit in on seemed "spoon fed" to him and not at all stimulating. The engineering tour was the most boring we've been on. He knew right away that Princeton wasn't for him, but others would revel in the history and tradition there, so you have to go yourself.</p>
