MIT vs Stanford, part deux

I know this has been done to death, but can anyone tell me specifically if
1) I am undecided but leaning towards Engineering or Science, or maybe Econ., which is better?
2) I'm not that great with building/making stuff. In my robotics team I was always the programmer. Considering MIT's hands-on approach to education, will this be a huge disadvantage?
3) I get stressed easily. Does MIT = sudden death?

That's all. I think these questions are pretty general though I've adapted them to my case.
Thank you :)

(1) Science vs engineering: Very difficult question that has puzzled people like Dirac. Is money a factor for your career? Anyway, you still have much time to decide. Doing a few courses will sort you out.

(2) No. My understanding is that it’s a collaborative environment. There will be someone who’s good at the mechanical work, while you make up for someone who doesn’t know programming.

(3) No. It’s similar across colleges; just whether you decide to take 9 courses per semester or cruise your way through. Think you’re better off as someone who gets stressed easily, given that you have not died yet, rather than someone who has never gotten stressed before but has always attained perfection.
