Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone has received their acceptance/denial emails for the MIT Weekend Immersion in Science and Engineering Program yet? I assumed I would receive a response on August 14 (similar to 2014), but I haven’t gotten one yet. Any thoughts?
I sent them an email asking them for a notification date, and they told me on Monday, August 17, 2015. aka tomorrow . aagh

Aah the suspense… @TexanCCStudent my ACT is 35 (35 M, 34 R, 35 W, 36 S) and my SAT II Math 2 is 800 and SAT II Chem is 760. What about you?
@giddypotato wow. we’re pretty similar except your chem score is way better haha. Are you also first gen?
My scores are as follow:
ACT: 35 (36 M, 36 R, 35 W, 32 S)
Math 2: 800
Chemistry: 670 (I’m going to take Biology and hopefully get 780 or higher)

@TexanCCStudent I’m not first gen, but I’m really hoping I get picked so I can get a chance to experience MIT life. I’m actually so indecisive so hopefully doing this would give me a better idea of which colleges to apply to!!

Same here. I had emailed the contact 2 weeks ago and they had told me we would know by the end of last week.

Yikes, that’s a lot of applicants! I haven’t gotten an email yet. SO MUCH SUSPENSE.

Hey guys, I haven’t gotten a response yet? I’m thinking maybe my email may have rejected the email or just didn’t accept the email, I’ve had the same issue a couple times in the past. What should I do?
@StownStudent I haven’t gotten one either! I’m hoping it might come later tonight and is just taking a long time because of the massive amount of rejection letters they’re sending lolol… but I’m planning on emailing them tomorrow if a response doesn’t come through
