MIT Women's Technology Program

Does anyone know if admissions to WTP are binding? My first choice of summer program is RSI, but that is insanely competitive and I'd like to apply to several programs to increase my chances (don't want to get stuck with nothing to do this summer)... I want to apply to both WTP and RSI, but if admissions are binding that could pose problems if I get accepted to both...

Hehe, of course I'll be lucky to get in to just one. -_-

Not to be a nag, but pleeease reply someone! I need to know whether to write the application essays or if that would be a waste of time since I can only apply to one program.

You can apply to both, and choose which to attend later if you are admitted into both.

When are the APPS due for WTP?

they must be sent in by feb 1st...i believe

WTP is definitely not binding if you get in. But if you do, you should definitely go because it's so awesome. :) And Feb. 1st is the deadline, yes.

how competitive is WTP?

anus anus bo anus

i second chocaholic's question...I applied to WTP but have no idea if I have a chance or not. Can anyone comment on how competitive it is to get in? The only information that WTP gave was that it was very competitive.

Shut up Leah.

~ 1:10 admit rate to WTP which is roughly twice as challenging
compared to the admit rate to MIT for girls (~1:5)

the number of people applied this yr is decrease....
