<p>I got my official rejection today. I’ve decided on HSHSP because they only accept 24 kids and I got 85% in aid. And Good luck CPU! :)</p>

<p>But I got accepted to the one week program!!! They said they accepted 50-60 people who weren’t accepted to MITES, but weren’t outright rejected!!!</p>

I am going to assume your from california. Mail came that quickly for you? I am terrified. I live in New York and I didnt even get a rejection in the mail. Now im worried that there was something wrong with my application. This is coupled with the fact that New York is 4 hours from Massachusettes and something better said where she lived is 6-7 hours so theoretically, I should have gotten a letter. If i didnt get in because of a screw up with my application, I will go ballistic. If i dont get in because i actually didn’t get in… I will still go ballistic. Sorry for ranting. I am sure some of you are just as if not more anxious.</p>
<p>It’s sad to see all of the rejections. Don’t think I will be able to stay sane until Monday.</p>

<p>I was still accepted to another program for MIT though. They said this year will be the first summer, an it’s for kids not accepted to MITES because there wasn’t enough space. They said I still had a really strong app :)</p>
<p>I’m still happy. Now I can work, go to driving school, AND go to MIT :)</p>
<p>You didn’t get in CPU? And what other MIT program did you get into? RSI? I was denied to RSI, but I wasn’t surprised, test scores and had no research experience.
