The problem is that many of our teachers have not received the link to upload it electronically

omgomgomgomgomgomgomg
2 more months before decision!

This is going to be an agonizing couple of months…:(

AAAH it keeps saying that my standardized scores are “incomplete”! If you guys had an online score report, how did you submit your SAT scores?

@terebin: don’t worry if teachers haven’t received the link. just ask them to snail mail it- it only needs to be postmarked by the 18th.

nocturnalduck- I think the head counselor sends in the scores w/ your transcripts

what is the PSAT cutoff for MITES anyways, like 180+…?

@gymqueenwork - Yes, but it still says incomplete. The lady I emailed said that a printout of the online scores was not enough, and that an “official” score report needed to be sent.
Anyone?

wait does the website update on the status on your application? Does it change it to “COMPLETE” when they recieve it? All my parts read “INCOMLETE.” :(

are you trying to finish the application now?
i think your app refuses to be marked complete because the application deadline has passed =(

^^

Don’t worry! They update the online application status as the supplemental information starts to come in. Like on mine, it recently updated saying that my science teacher had submitted the rec. As long as all the forms are marked as complete by February 18th, you will be fine.

Question for you guys: Would it have been better to have my AP Physics teacher who can’t speak proper English write a recommendation for me or my AP U.S. teacher who is an excellent writer? Both like me.

Anybody want to post their stats?

nocturnalduck- call college board and have them express send it to MITES (it’s $40, i had the online report too). you have to tell the person the actual address of MITES not MIT

@eobaggs: it really depends on the writing. Speaking improper English doesn’t mean that the person is a bad writer. My dad doesn’t speak english very well and yet he can write amazing papers
Of course, if you want to be on the safe side, you probably should pick your AP US teacher write it. Hope this helps! :)

@kihoon
I’ll post my stats once my SAT scores come in.

@eobaggs
How can you have your AP US history teacher write it? You need a counselor, a math teacher, and a science teacher… Besides, you already chose one if you filled out the online app…

How do we upload a photo? On the checklist it says upload your scores & a photo, but there’s no place for either. Should we send a picture in with our packet? My counselor is sending everything by mail tomorrow. I would have to copy my actual passport picture, or I think I have two actual passport pictures.

The status updates are working for me as well. MITES says that that my counselor recommendation is “RECEIVED”

ugh…are you serious about express mailing SAT scores to MITES?

I took my SATs in january and I got an email from collegeboard for four free score reports or something…I should have just sent it in then. :(

Jmcrusader do you have a link? Because people said the regular link doesn’t work.
Somethingbetter, I’m serious, I had the online report too:/ from now on I’m getting the paper one, although I’ll find out my score a month later than everyone else.
