apush kicked my butt last year! but i lovelovelove calc (: if you have questions on anything i’ll do my best to explain!! (:

bahahaha i love calc too, favorite subject. i understand when my teacher doesn’t rush because of all of the snow days :(

i have my princeton review and barron’s as my own pocket teachers :)

Ergh, I wish I could be taking calc by now. Im so far behind in math. Alg2 in school. But there’s AP stat. hopefully that makes it better.

but I HATE apush with a burning passion. Just wanted to get that out there. my teacher is rushing b/c of the snow days too. and the txtbk is sooo dryyy…

I wish I could do math all day.

i havent taken any advanced classes. Honestly this s my first year taking honors, but last year i dual enrolled in the local Vocational School, Charlotte Technical Center. They work with the local schools in Charlotte County to let students take career specific classes as career oriented electives for half a day which will go on transcripts as an honors class. Hopefully, if you complete the course, you can end up graduating high school with business certifications and be eligible to get a job. You may have to continue after high school depending on what year you start in. I was lucky and heard about this opportunity my freshman year and have been in their Computer Systems Technology class since my sophomore year. I have a very high chance to complete this course, im on the third part and will probably finish, and take my A+ Certification.

So when you get out of high school, you’ll be able to be a CIT?
That sounds good. My school has something like that, but they don’t really have computer related stuff. Just culinary arts, hair dressing, etc. It’s not bad, but it’s not what I want to do.

Do you learn programming?

I’m doing programming now :)

Mc- that’s okay! Everybody is different

Is programming fun? I heard it could be a drag because there are so many little errors you can make that can ruin a program and you have to constantly debug and stuff.

No, The Charlotte Technical Center doesn’t offer a programming course. im more of a hardware/network person.

It’s frustrating but rewarding.
I’m a software kinda girl.

ok, ill make sure everything stays on and is running in tip top shape.

And I’ll make sure the programs actually work.

Didn’t get an email from MITES…am I supposed to be happy or sad? :S

dude
i love how ap calc just turned impossible
like differentiation = easy
THEN THIS INTEGRATION OMG WHY

BE VERY HAPPY!

And, dont scare me like that, we’re almost at integrals!

average during differentiation: 96%
average during intergration: (im not sure yet, but i just got 76% on a quiz LOL GG)
good luck man :)

My class just finished integration by parts/trig substitution/partial fraction decomposition/improper integrals. Integration really is not that hard.

Just want to keep the list around.

we’re doing infinite series right now…fun

Jamaican! We’re like doing the same chem and calc!

I just did infinite series, we’re doing Taylor/Maclaurin for hw tonight. what book are you using?!?!

CALCULUS-eigth edition, by larson, hostetler, and edwards.
