2360, last May also

I’m hoping for a 32 ACT. and in sept I want to break 2100s for SATs.

AP tests- us history, Calc AB, stats
Subject tests- math II, physics
Act in April

Oh…
AP-Calculus BC, Bio, Econ, US History, Physics C, English Lang
SAT(710 on Math I :()- Math II, maybe Physics?

I haven’t broken 2000 for SATs either (1940)

I got a 1970… :(… im planning on studying hardcore this summer for SAT’s if i dont get into MITES.

but i did get 800 on math 2
… im planning on taking sat bio in may and maybe physics in june.

That’s great! My math was the lowest (620:()

I’m going to fail the physics one. I’m going to take math 2 and physics in June and September. And maybe October lol.

I’m retaking the SAT in October. Hopefully my CR score will go up because of AP English Language and Composition…

So does this mean that you are already taking a bunch of AP courses and attend a great high school where 96% go to college and in a great neighborhood, but still a minority, you might not be considered at all?

saneli–that’s my situation and those are my thoughts exactly!!

i go to an underfunded school, with 75% of the students being minority. hopefully that increases my chances
.

Im a low income minority, but I fit saneli’s description in terms of my school.

saneli-- that’s not how my school is at all. my school is considered a black school because it’s 54% minority and the cross town school has more non minority students (white.)

most of the kids who graduate work or join the military. maybe 1/3 do this/go to comm college(not a bad thing) or trade school(bad imo.)

but i am still taking many APs and plan on going to college for 5+ years :)

we’re gonna get sat scores back before we find out about mites. whyyyy does it take so long?!?! i mean i know why…they have to decide who gets in and whatnot, but WHY? grrrrr.

Hey Guys, I just started to follow this thread. One quick question, am I allowed to email my January SAT scores in still since my counselor only sent my psats? if yes, how would I go about doing that? Thanks

you have to email MITES and ask them.

i think it would be too late because everything had to be in around feb 18, but still email them.

Thanks for your help. I found out that they can’t accept them since that date passed. Bummer but for future summer programs, how would I send in my official sat scores or sat score report?

through collegeboard (most likely will cost) or email/fax/mail if you have an official copy.

Haven’t taken the SAT yet, doing that in May, but hopefully it’ll be close to my PSAT, which was 235. That’s my dream, though. I’m probably going to choke or something. But I’m taking the ACT in April. Have to start practicing, but hopefully it goes well

APs: Only Euro last year. I got a 5, but I forgot to send my score to MITES. But it’s history and it shouldn’t make a difference.
This year its Stat, US, Language and Comp, and Phys B.

SAT IIs: I think I’m done. I took four. Math 1–730, Bio E–760, Chem–780, and World History–720 (Honestly, I guessed so much on this one. Only God could have given me that score.)

and CPUScientist-- I definitely want to go to college for 5+ years too!

i’m jealous of your amazing tests scores. i feel like i will fail the subject tests and ACT

It’s all Barrons, CPU, all Barrons.

And trust me, you won’t fail the Subject Tests. If you know the material, then the curve will save you, especially for physics and math 2.
