i have barron’s for ACT and the math 2 and physics subject tests…

and thats the problem, i DONT know the material. math 2 is all geometry which i havent taken since 8th grade, and for physics i wont even get up to half of the stuff.

im so upset
makes me cry

That’s why I didn’t take those tests…I’m behind in math according to CC standards, so I stuck with Math 1. And I am positive I won’t survive the physics test because me teacher physucks (haha, i’m feeling punny). Since you’re taking APUSH, why not do that subject test? And what about math 1?

math 1 has precalc mainly which my teacher did not teach very well

and im going to be an engineering/computer science major–no schools give a crap about a history test lol.

i’m really scared. i dont want that to affect decisions. ill be retaking in sept and oct though. ill studyy my butt off this summer

I took Math 1 without Precalc. It’s mainly SAT Math, all algebra and a little trig. But, it’s more straight forward. Math 2 has Precalc.

And I want to do Engineering/Physical Science major, too. I took History just because it would show diversity, blah, blah, blah…

Yep, all we can do is study. Hopefully we get into MITES, but that would interfere with SAT studying time…

damn. maybe i should take math 1 too.

what kind of trig??? im not good with that.

EDIT: I WAS SO MISINFORMED! i have to buy a barron’s now. and sell my math 2… what a waste. still will take both though

Oh, very, very easy stuff. You just need SOH CAH TOA and one trig identity, sin^2 +cos^2 =1.

When I took the test, I hadn’t taken Trig yet. It was fine. I think you should definitely go Math 1.

ughhh. im so angry!!!

gahhh. i will buy a book ASAP

If I could give you my book, I would. but again, Barrons all the way!

haha thanks. and oh yeah, def barron’s

For math II, I memorized all the conic sections and trig identities, but when I took the test, there were no conic questions and only one trig problem.

O_________________________________________O

@entrevox11 you can send in your AP scores to MITES? >:O

Oh wait, yeah, I forgot. MITES doesn’t want AP scores. I also applied to SSP and Clark Scholars, and I sent my score for those. So I guess I was thinking I forgot to send it to MITES.

Do you guys know if decisions first arrive by mail or email. I dont really rust the postal service…

chow–i just died when i saw that face. i’m still laughing (: gosh i’m so slap-happy.

my mood is SO RANDOM right now. this is what happens after first watching science shows from 1980 and then watching a movie about mozart, on the day that i took a four hour long test at eight in the morning. i think i’m gonna do some chem homework and watch iron chef america. i’m modeling tomorrow for my friend’s photo project so i need my beauty sleep (hehehe) but i’m not sure i’ll get much…hope everyone did well on the sat this morning aaaand i can’t wait for the summer!!

omg.
sat
LOL
MATH SECTIONS = GG XD
thats not breaking any collegeboard privacy laws right? :O

MAIL? NOT EMAIL? NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo

i really wanna phat package :p

I wanna tube like for early action MIT!!!
