That’s great:)

this is the first i’m hearing of a date. but at least i’m not totally clueless now!

One month one day.

AHH! No countdowns, please! That makes it all the less suspenseful. I want to try to forget about it (that’s not working though) and be pleasantly (or very unpleasantly) surprised to see a letter from MITES. Please no countdowns…

hahah yeah
it would just be great to go home after like another boring day
TO SEE A BIG FAT ENVELOPE FROM MITES IN THE MAILBOX :)

You know what will be even better?

Coming home to A BIG TUBE WITH CONFETTI:)

you know what would be EVEN BETTER?
coming home to BOTH XD

wait … big tube with confetti = ea at mit right? :)

CPU–zomg yess!!

Haha yes that’s what it means. Out of the 6 schools I’m applying to, I only REALLY want to attend 6. MIT is the only school out of 4 that I’m applying EA to that I REALLY want to attend.
The other five are with RD. omg :(

cpu, what schools are you planning on applying to?
im applying to MIT ea, ut, A&M, cornell, carnegie mellon, stanford (maybe), rice

** means it’s one of the six I most want to go to:

EA:
MIT**
Northeastern
UMass
Rutgers

RD:
Yale**
Wellesley**
Smith**
RPI**
Cornell**
Boston U

umm is it bad if i don’t have a list yet?

lulz i dont have one either ![]()
i dont even know what i want to do with my life yet.

Yes! You need to get going! I have a binder and each college has a section. Information on majors, student life, and financial aid. I just printed out common data sets for two schools and I will do more later.

The biggest reason is financial aid you should visit schools spring of jr year because sr year is crunch time. And if you get admitted without visiting first, you won’t know if it’s actually right for you, even if you attend admitted students weekends.

What everyone’s intended major?
Mine changes with every school, but: computer science and cognitive science, computer science and psychology, computer science and computer engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or computer systems engineering.

what ahhh i feel so behind now. binders? sections? printing? oh no oh no oh no!!

on the bright side i’m watching harry potter (:

Well that’s just me. It’s a good idea though

Woah, page 99 :)

I’d say that it’s good to have at least a general idea of what college you want to apply to and what major you want. After all, early action applications will be due this year. :D

yeah i myself have a 7+ list depending on which applications i finish in time. My intended target college was firs Johnson and Wales University but then I had been contacted by Rochester Institute of Technology and now I’ve been dazzled by them in wanting to major there Computer Engineering (not the software engineering path), and minor in Networking Systems, being a part of their Engineering Honors Program. i just havent visited many of the colleges i want to because we cant really find the time and money since a majority of the ones i want to go too are in the North east, but i live in Florida, so whichever colleges i get accepted too ill go visit.

McLeod- that’s why I’m only applying to northeastern schools. It takes a lot of time and money to visit schools.

Next Saturday I’m visiting smith :)

EDIT: I’m from CT

If you were the area of Florida i’m in you’d want to get out so bad to actually experience an actual 4 seasons feels like.
